SC Educational Interpreting Center

There is a new center for full time educational k-12 interpreters.

Clemson University, SC School for the Deaf and the Blind, and SC State Department of Education has formed a partnership to provide free EIPA and EIPA written tests, $25 workshops, and free mentoring for all SC educational k-12 working interpreters.

To get started you must go to this website and click on MENU, then INITIAL REGISTRATION and complete the form.

This is all you need to do to get started.

The first workshop is Feb 10 & 11 at University Center of Greenville. You can go ahead and register for this workshop as well.

EIPA written test and performance testing will start in Feb as well, but you have to do the initial registration first.

SC RID will be providing CEUs for workshops.
